I am relatively new to the world of bicycle touring but I am getting into it more and more. My first touring specific bicycle was bought in 2013, but I didn’t buy it to start touring. The Koga Signature was originally purchased because my research showed that it could handle the weight of a heavy rider.
While looking for a suitable bike, I read more and more about the world traveling long distances by bicycle. The when I got the bike and did my first ever tour, I failed miserably and it would be years before I toured again.

I had the saddle included when I ordered the bicycle from Koga. Everything you read online leads you to believe that Brooks is the only saddle worth touring on. This is true.
